Skyline  February 2008

There was a great turn out for the first organized ride by the Smokey Mountain Cruisers held at Skyline in Skyline, AL. We had 27 rigs in attendance that ranged from FJ Cruisers, FJ 40's, FJ 80's, X-Terra's, Jeeps, and a 4-Runner. Drivers came from Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Virginia, Tennessee, and North Carolina.

After a brief meet and great and dividing up of groups, everyone aired down and headed for the trails. Dan (dwh84), Dennis (Mt. Dew) and Phil (BamaBleach) lead the groups and did an excellent job of getting everyone through the days trails.

We had a day filled of rock climbing, mud and more mud and even got to practice some recovery skills. A good time was had by all and ended with everyone wanting to know when we are going to ride again.

A big thanks to Phil, Dan and Dennis for getting this ride together and letting us play in their back yard. And to all of those that attended this event and made it a huge success we had a blast and can't wait to do it again next year.
